Working on the Inside - Succeeding on the Outside
Correctional Industries (CIs) are self-funded programs in correctional facilities that provide real-world work experience and training to incarcerated individuals to prepare them for successful reentry and employment after release. CIs reduce recidivism, save taxpayers' money, strengthen local and state economies, facilitate reentry, and contribute to victim restitution. NCIA is the professional association that supports the people and organizations that make these programs possible.
